Almost Self-Reliant
Awesome Pat! We're getting new neighbours too (one lot over) and they are building their house right now (They've been working for about 2 weeks and already the framing for the first floor is up!!) and we're super nervous to meet them, we have horses, chickens, ducks, goats and lots of dogs and the chickens make such a racket......at 7am every morning, our immediate neighbour is very private but he LOVES the animals. His property line is at the edge of our driveway and he often stops when he is mowing the barnyard behind his house (he only has dogs) and watches the horses, and loves the sound of the chickens.
I just hope these new people aren't city slickers who have some fanciful perception of country livin'
