worst fast food burgers
cool list to read and the fat and sodium is thru the roof....WOOF!!

http://att.my.yahoo.com/_ylt=An3Ua2...food-burgers-and-what-you-should-eat-instead/

you know a homemade burger is so simple and delish vs. the fast food types.

I love the grill---the BBQs I make all the time...nothing like fresh off the grill taste for anything..LOL

HOW DOES EVERYONE love their burger?

I am cheese and bacon and ketchup.
Nope, nothing else...LOL

Gee -- I thought you were posting about a book I just read with that title. In the book, an ad executive quits corporate America and takes a series of "working man" type jobs. It was enjoyable and a bit of an eye-opener to see what it is like to work for a fast food joint, in an emergency room, a pizza delivery guy, etc. It's worth the read.

Saturated fat does not make you fat. It doesn't cause heart disease either. The unhealthy part of these fast food meals is the carbohydrates. Since they didn't list those on either the "bad" burger or the alternative, it is hard to judge.

I get whatever burger I want and then toss the bun. No fries :D

I make burgers stuffed with cheese (hubby likes blue cheese, I like montery jack), grilled hot peppers and onions, mayo, spicy mustard and more cheese... and I do like my carbs, but in small doses so I usually only put the burger on the bottom piece of a bun and leave off the top half.

As good as grilled burgers are my favorite is: thin patty, FRIED (yes I said fried) in its own juices (no oil) until all juices in the pan have evaporated and burger is browned. Mustard, Mayo and ketchup.
No seasoning except a little sea salt after burger is cooked.

Yucky fast food! I like a burger salad, as DH calls it.
Burger, either grilled or like 2dream said, fried in a cast iron.
Then pile it high with tomato, spinach or mixed greens (no iceberg, blech) onions, pickles, cheese, cheese & more cheese. Maybe a little bbq sauce, otherwise ketchup & spicy mustard.
I gotta have a bun with my burger though. Just isn't right otherwise :p

Home made on the grill with home made mayo, home made mustard and thick slice of onion, in summer with mayo lettuce and tomato from the garden. Whole wheat buns always. And salt.

When I am making burgers at him, a thin slice of jicama make a great bun substitute.
