There is an option I've been pondering about the offspring, --you could always sell the youngun as a bottle baby. esp if it is a girl, then she will be really tame.

I've got the time.....I've got the room....I don't have the nerve! I know so little about cattle, and I want a Dexter soooo bad, but I need to apprentice or something until I know enough to properly tend to one.

Cattle are apparently very easy. But I guess I'lll find out. If I let nerve get in my way, I wouldn't have even had kids
