Your Favorite Tomato Sandwich Recipe?

Two slabs of homemade bread, generic Miracle Whip, Mom's hot pepper butter spread, slab of sweet onion, lettuce and EAT.....drippy, wonderful, juicy tomatoe sandwich! Oh, forgot to add just a sprinkle of salt on that mater.

Did you really mean Cool Whip or did ya mean Miracle Whip?
I am not a Miracle Whip fan but I have to say the Cool Whip on a mater sammy is quite, um, unusual!

I hate tomatoes on burgers for some reason???

And salads, cut up tons of tomatoes on salads...or just eat alone with a little italian dressing or something...YUMMY!

FC that was the biggest treat for me when I was a kid in fresh tomato season. Just cut one up in a bowl, sprinkle a little salt on it and eat it like candy! LOL

yea that is so true cassandra
a good homegrown tomatoe has such great taste!
all thru the season I just cut up and eat with a little salt as a side to my meal. I go mater crazy..LOL

and there is nothing like that first bite of fresh tomatoe! I wait for it......good candy! best candy you could be eating..LOL

toast white bread
add mayo
sliced tomato
salt and pepper
bacon bits

ripe, COLD 1/4" slices on white bread with sliced cheese, mayo, 2 slices of fried bologna, homemade dill chips and a huge glass of sweet tea and lays plain tater chips. my mouth is watering now and no real tomatoes in sight.

Fried egg sandwich: fry an egg , put on toast with mayo spread on it. place a slice of tomatoe on top of egg, put the second slice of mayo'd toast on top..enjoy!
