we had a few sprinkles this morning but it didn't accomplish much of anything at all. i was able to get outside and pick peas and beans and that was it. no luck in getting the garlic lifted so that will happen tomorrow i hope. rest of the day is indoor things and garden club meeting so nothing too dangerous.

Excessive heat advisory still in effect. It's so humid outside. But they added a severe storm risk advisory. I read it and can't understand all the acronyms and terms. I guess it's a new language called "weatherese"???

We MAY get scattereds late day or overnight. Hope so! Glad I watered garden last night. Not extensive but enough to perk up.

Today will be hotter than usual "too hot"...107-110 feel like. Great! NOT.

Only good news, gas has dropped into $4.00 range. How long?
