Canned potatoes make fast work for potato salads, too 😂 leaves more outside time.
I need to can the rest of the extra potatoes I bought. By the time I get them done I'll probably have a years' worth of potatoes sitting in the pantry and waiting for us. Kinda nice.

Will definitely do more beans too.

Made 8 1/2 pints of apple butter.

About done with sweet spreads for the year. Made blueberry jam about a month ago, plenty fig preserves from last yr, now this. I don't even eat much jam/jelly spreads anyway. Nice gifts if need arises -- just dress up the jar. 😊

Figs are ripening this week, so dehydrator will be busy.

I volunteered at the county fair yesterday. I have four more slots to go.

Anyhoo, we were intaking the canning and preserving that people were dropping off. There are 12 pages of rules, some of which I think the participants didn't read. Oh well, we were there to help guide them, and to fill out the numerous pages and tags.

I had a good time with like minded ladies. And I can't wait to wander around to see the other exhibits, such as photography, sewing, quilting, flowers, baking and more.
