    Is there something that can be done to improve the search feature? If I know the subject, the author, and the section of the forum I want to search, giving me 144 or 200 pages to search is really not helpful unless I have nothing better to do with my time.

    The cinnamon does work to keep the ants out. You need to sprinkle it arround the hive on the stand as well. It will need reapplied whenever it rains...or heavy dew. As for cinnmaon on the inner cover, the bees will either ignore it or remove it as debris; each of my hives treated it...

    Stay hydrated and cool, FF! I got some peaches canned today, but it was really not fun with the temps and humidity. The only good thing about the storms that went through, is that the temp is now down to 78. Hope you can catch a break with the heat soon!

    That was a DOOZY of a storm! I am glad to hear that your children and your chickens are fine. We didn't lose power here at all, thank God. Your bees would have been aware of the storm way before you and were probably indoors. :D
