Tonight...I'm cooking sweet potatoes right now. Boiled eggs & egg salad yesterday...so, choices. Not so co ordinated -- sounds like a @flowerbug frig raid kinda meal  :love might heat some collards in there. 🤔
I use store ones, too....but got excited of type that yr I ordered some. I've had great luck with many store items. Especially peppers👍 and some of the live herbs, squash, melon, etc
A goal in next week or two is to plant garlic. I've wanted to do that for a few yrs, it didn't happen. 😔 Last yr I actually bought garlic to plant...this yr I'm looking in the box & wondering if they'll still sprout. Some cloves were pretty dry but you could feel centers still there. Some...

My cats are all outside. Caught a mouse inside last night! 🥴 🙄
Fried bacon, put cabbage, onion & home grown fingerling potatoes in ... Steaming/sauteing or whatever. It'll be dinner! 😄 Made a little coleslaw for my BBQ in freezer, eats later in week. This is some spicy cabbage!! 😉. I'll have to ask my friend what kind it is -- beyond pretty & green...

The damage to some crops will trickle down from the hurricane. Uprooted pecan groves, fields of grains for oils, flour, etc....loss of more...

My chicken planted tomato plants are blooming. Enough bugs around to still pollinate. Hoping they're the smaller types I had -- needs less time to mature. :fl my weather is usually ok temp wise for those.
ETA -- I plan to get some garlic planted in some containers while I'm home for almost...
