I haven't been online much, but wanted to see what was going on with you. I am sorry to hear that your family is having serious health issues. You all are in our prayers, Wanda.
Finally some hopeful news. Then Oncologist thinks DH has the rather rare Lambert Eaton Syndrome.
DH goes for chemo Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. 4 weeks later he has an x-ray. If tumor is gone or shrinking it is Lambert Eaton. If not we will find out more then.
I really like this Dr. He was straight forward and honest. And we are very lucky that he studied at the Mayo Clinic.
hopefully everything will work itself out, haven't heard of that syndrome....sounds like you were lucky to even have a doctor that knew about it and what to look for.
You are all so sweet. I really can't tell you how much each and everyone of you mean to me. Thats why I love this place.
Now for a SS update. My saurkraut turned out wonderful. I took it out of my new picklemiester last night and put it in regular jars to age some more and stuck them in the fridge. At this point it is still crunchy but has the most wonderful flavor. I used fresh garlic and caraway seed for flavor. My next batch will have a few jalapeno's thrown in just to see what it does to the taste.
Made a blackberry pie with the fresh blackberrys we have picked over the last few days. Unfortunately I did not have any ice cream to go with it. I will pick more today and hopefully have enough for jam.
That is one thing I had a ton of trouble with, saurkraut.
So that nifty looking contraption worked, how cool I bet jalapeno saurkraut would be awesome!
