As for the turtles, you could try the old survival turtle trap...

Obviously make it large enough at the entrance for turtles to enter, and put some dead fish in there to bait them. And, let me know how well it works... They work on the survivalist shows, but ya never know, ya know?

For now, you can just scour around for cheap/free supplies to get their pens built. I've been doing the same, I've got the new garden, the turkeys (now ducks) and tons of chicken peeps to sell and more hatching, PLUS 114 button quail eggs that should hatch this week. WAAAAYYYY too busy to be thinking about rabbits, but of course, I AM thinking about them. So, to keep myself content about the rabbits until I can actually get some, I've just been looking for great deals on caging materials.

I LOVE those heritage RIR'S!!!! They're gorgeous! Where did you get your stock? Do you sell eggs? Just curious, they are soooooo pretty! I have a friend here who is dying to get his hands on some heritage RIR's. If you do sell eggs let me know, and how much, etc. and I'll let him know. he would probably buy some.
