Summer squash will keep a few days on the counter top, but much longer refrigerated. Winter squash will last 3-6 months in a cool place, no refrigeration needed. Can you tell which kind of squash you have? Summer squash is soft, winter has a harder rind like pumpkin, butternut, acorn, or spaghetti squash.mrscoyote said:A friend gave us yellow squash, sweet potatoes and raw peanuts today.I have started the peanuts roasting but am unsure what to do with the others. How long will they keep at room temp? Is it better to refrigerate ? I really don't care for frozen squash. Off to google options.
Wow! That is insane. I wish bureaucrats would just leave good people alone and let us enjoy our lives.mrscoyote said:I just wanted to share this link with everyone. I know it's preaching to the choir but here it is anyway.
