Summer squash will keep a few days on the counter top, but much longer refrigerated. Winter squash will last 3-6 months in a cool place, no refrigeration needed. Can you tell which kind of squash you have? Summer squash is soft, winter has a harder rind like pumpkin, butternut, acorn, or spaghetti squash.mrscoyote said:A friend gave us yellow squash, sweet potatoes and raw peanuts today. I have started the peanuts roasting but am unsure what to do with the others. How long will they keep at room temp? Is it better to refrigerate ? I really don't care for frozen squash. Off to google options.
Wow! That is insane. I wish bureaucrats would just leave good people alone and let us enjoy our lives.mrscoyote said:I just wanted to share this link with everyone. I know it's preaching to the choir but here it is anyway.
