I'm pretty sure bone broth is used to flavor McDonnald's french fries. There was a small scandal about that many years ago. Apparently some folks thought it was an illegal or unethical enticement to purchase their fries. Or something like that. Does anyone remember that?

No but I remember a fuss about the oil/fat they were fried in, it seems they were adding tallow and/or lard to the veg. oil to improve taste and browning. When they were using that I thought they had the best fries I had tasted, afterward they were just average in my book and I switched to Burger King to have burgers "my way'. ~gd

I do remember something about beef of some sort being in the fries. Vegetarians were naturally upset. Ahhh...found it...

Me too. I love Micky-D fries but I have not had any for several years. So maybe they're not as good now as they were then.
