Thanks! I just got a text from the school saying due to "severe weather" warnings and for health and safety reasons, the school won't be open tomorrow. In other parts of the country school bus service has been cancelled as well. This sounds like it may be a serious storm. So glad we're nowhere near the coast or where they are expecting it to pass over.

Very quiet outside tonight and very foggy, which is unusual for the evenings here. Our weather has been a bit strange the last few days, much too warm for this time of the year as well. Guess we're about to pay for it

The entire country is under red warning now. Chaos along the coast and lots of people without power. Ours is still on, thank goodness. The wind is getting crazy now. I'm so glad I have no large trees that can cause trouble near my house.

We're o.k. Hectic wind earlier and lots of rain, but our power stayed on, thank goodness. I hear some parts of the country got hit pretty bad… Especially along the coast, Cork, Kerry, Clare, etc. One of our neighbour's trees lost a branch while I was outside and gave me quite a fright! Thankfully that was about as exiting as things got I hear we may be in for more this evening, but for the last hour or so it's been quiet outside.
