That TX weather is here in VA now. 3' yesterday .. scattered showers this AM and T-storms again late day. :( Did need a little rain on the farm but, not this much.:idunno Moves out tomorrow noonish. I'm high, so not hanging that wet, that deep but, it isn't tilling turf right now. :D

You GOT to plant some sugar snap peas in the fall! I have grown English peas before but never Sugar snap. Dang they are good! You gotta try them!

I recently learned you can eat the young pea plants whole as well... so plant thickly and enjoy the thinnings in your salad

Well good news on the chicken eating neighbor dog story. The neighbor has been keeping him home in the afternoons and we havent had any issues. The dog does visit alot but the kids love him. We have actually gotten to know each other a little better too. My kids go visit to let him know we are letting the chickens out. Hes taken a liking to the kids and gave my son an old mountain bike. Hes very happy about it. The guy is 80, had 9 kids, lost 2 and buried his wife. Hes been threw some stuff for sure. Good dude tho! Wish i had gotten to know him sooner
