Potato vines died back a little early. They had some potato bugs on them so maybe it was bacterial blight? Idk so i pulled them. Much better harvest than last year! These reds are so fast it makes me want to replant them and see if we can get a second harvest

sorry 2nd planting won't work, too hot already. Great harvest! I had so many one year that I dehydrated hash browns. I cut them on a mandolin, blanched, drained and dehydrated them. I put them in quart jars. It took 15 minutes to rehydrate them. They were good.

Agreed. The second planting should be in a fall garden. I dehydrate most of my potatoes. They go bad too fast otherwise here. I don't have a cellar (yet) or spot sufficiently cool yet to store things like potatoes.
