I love my Foodsaver too! What did I ever do without it.

Nice job on the jelly and pickles. We pick wild plums in the fencerows and it makes the best jam!

My favorite jelly/jam is made with beets but I lost my mom's recipe. I'm hoping to find it in time to make some this fall.

A big shout out of THANKS to you @Chic Rustler!! I recently caught up on your YouTube posts and saw a comment you posted about using a blacklight to find hornworms at night. So I went to Harbor Freight and picked up a small handheld one for less than $10. I couldnt WAIT for it to get dark! My husband just shook his head when he heard me mumbling "I'll GET YOU, my pretty!" :gig
Not only did it work great but it was fun! It would be a great way to get kids to help. The worms were flourescent and easy to find. :weee

By chance, I found our brown eggs showed up bright pink. Very cool! Thanks for the tip (even if it wasnt directed to me.)!:thumbsup

Ok guys i have harvested all my corn and pulled the stalks. Half my garden is empty and its not even summer yet. What to plant?

What would be a good crop that would finish up in time for me to replant with root crops in the fall?
