dressed out a litter of rabbits today for the freezer. making stock as we speak for canning. no pics yet but I'll post some of the rabbits later.

the kids and I had a little project for mothers day. we built the wife a flower bed in front of the house.

today's harvest and canning. turnips and mustard greens. we roasted the turnips in the oven with some olive oil and herbs. not too shabby. another 12 cans of greens for the cupboard. that's almost a years worth now if we east them once a week....which we won't.

Ditto! This year I'm doing hay and woodchips since I was gifted a whole truckload. And I can't stand bare dirt - I have to cover it up with something!
