scored this guy today for $300. that's about half price. it's got a fresh tune up and runs good. bow to wire in some electrical to make it power the house if needed. it has enough power to run the refrigerator and deep freeze and a few lights. not the electric heat or ac. we are getting better prepared this year for sure

these hoses will hook up a small propane tank to a heater or anything that runs propane. I ordered a wall mount heater and with a couple plumbing fittings I will be able to run it on 20 lb propane bottles to heat the house.

got this guy for $70 on Amazon. it will heat a bedroom for 5 hours with a 1 lb bottle. those are the small green ones in the camping section of walmart. anyway my preps include camp stoves and propane lanterns if needed so this will fit just fine.

got 25 gallons of gas and two propane bottles ready for storage. treated the gas with stabil and marvel mystery oil. it's supposed to last for 2 years. I'll run it in my cars next year and refill them. the tank of the generator is also full. I'm estimating that I'll use a gallon an hour. so with the 5 gallon tank on the generator full I should get by a little while if needed.

I'm thinking the propane bottles will last around 20 hours with the 30k btu heater I ordered. so i might need a few more of those.
