Yes, Abi I hate ice-unless it's hot enough to fry an egg on the hood of my truck, and then only a little bit of ice. I'm also not overly fond of ice cream-unless it's either soft serve, or a bit melted. (I'm having trouble typing! I have a cat on my lap trying to "help" me.)

Gots that! Plus several Good Earth selections pomegranate and cherry.

I asked, because I thought it might be some secret infused tea combo! :D

Deb - with you on ice... not on ice cream. :gig

Jamie - Nope... I play with it. Green tea with berries is good. Black tea with orange is good. Or lemon zinger! Pomegranate or cherry would be awesome with either, but especially the green!! MMMMM!

So I had this dream last night that we were escaping the Chinese (they'd apparently taken over and were killing off escapees from their education camps) and we were hiding in the walls full of insulation and they caught us and were drugging us so that we'd all take the education better.

I woke up almost falling off the bed, trying to get away from the needle.

Any dream interpreters out there? :gig

I was afraid there wasn't enough random today for my big sis.
And now for that dream interpretation. It came to me last night.

This is a fear of change dream. I am wondering if the "Chinese" represents your father in some way, since he is also Asian. He seems to have been the one that was usually in charge of your training as a child and a powerful authority figure to you. He was always insisting on you doing the right thing as a child, right and you sometimes felt that was simply too hard. That is why you want to escape from him in the dream.

The "education camps" are obvious. That represents SCHOOL. Since you just finished with you CNA schooling stuff that evil viper school has reared it's head for you once more. It was a source of stress as a child as it is now which is why you have had the dream for a long time. In a lot of ways your have always been an "escapee" from the school program, whether actually physically or just in a mental sort of way. You also acknowledge other "escapees" in your dream, because you understand their are others like you.

"Hiding in the walls full of insulation" is also quite telling. You have been in what you consider to be a safe spot for you for a little while now. Insulated from those worries and problems with your own little protections.

Now the part of you that is driven to better yourself and succeed - represented by Chinese/Father has found you and the change is coming with no means of escape. Interesting that the change is in the form of a needle, isn't it Miss Nursie?

What do you think? Make sense to you?

What fun! I hadnt had that specific dream before... but epic long escape dreams. Lots of war zones. Fire :D

My favorite dream was the one where i invited the neighborhood serial killer in to slaughter my family while i watched the tele lol. We said bye when he left. It was very casual. I only got that one once too.

Then there are training dreams. Where i practice stuff over and over ad naseum...

My being chased dreams morphed into me being the armed one and then they got fun not scary anymore. They might chase but now i kill them right back lol.

I have always had drug dreams and needles. Ivs that pump in bugs. Stuff like that. Usually my attackers are wasps... whiteboys. Blond hair and blue eyes.

What kind of dreams do you have?

The chase dreams where you morphed into having the weapon are usually indicative of a problem that has been worrying you and is solved. :)

When I was a child living in a neglectful and irrational household I had death and dismemberment dreams a LOT! Horrible dreams where I was in a horse show riding my favorite horse and the judge would come out and slaughter my horse while I was still riding her. :sick

I also had a reoccurring dream where I was in a mobile home and it was rolling down a mountain into a hole. The weird end to that dream was when I finally met my bio father and he invited my family to spend a weekend to get to know each other some. He had a new mobile home that they had just moved in, which was where we stayed the night. It was setup on concrete blocks, not tied down yet and they were digging a huge hole for the septic tank behind it! :ep Talk about dreams that come true! But it did stay on it's blocks all night and never went rolling. ;)

Most of my dreams these days are pleasant things... When I can sleep long enough to have one ... or I remember it. :hu

Yeh definitely... the more confident I get, the more weapons I have in my dreams!

Although most of my dreams are very literal. I sat and studied my books before my cna test lol.

What happened here Abi is that a 45 and a half pound land octopus known also as a chupa cabesa or "brain sucker" was under your bed last night when you went to sleep, crawled out when it heard the first snore and attached itself to your head. One foot in each ear, each eye, each nostril, and the other two stabilizing the creature onto the bedpost so it could remove itself quickly if you rolled over. The escapees was actually you trying to escape the grasp of this thing on your head sucking out all of your intelligence. Hiding in the insulation was when you wrapped up tighter in the covers on the bed to try to get away, but you forgot to put the covers over your head first. the needle was when the stupid thing slipped and got his foot stuck in your left ear for a second....barely getting it out in time before you woke up. Too much Chinese food makes the dream seem more real too. Chupa cabesas love MSG.

Did you eat chinese last night before bed? Even a fortune cookie will attract those things!

How's that for random? :D
