Me too. Sometimes it does its own thing and sometimes I think I live there.

I articulate well but often it is babble. It is odd to be able to describe things exactly and it is as though you spoke a different language...

It just occurred to me that saying Abi can't be Autistic because she doesn't appear to be autistic on this forum is like assuming someone who has a handicapped parking permit but doesn't appear handicapped isn't really handicapped.

I don't claim to be a doctor, nor do I play one on TV, but I have met several people that are autistic, or have Asperbergers, and they vary in how they are. And, these are people that have been diagnosed. And, they range in how well they function.
Deb, did you sleep at a Holiday Inn last night? According to the commercials, that makes you an expert.. (Okay, I'm sorry, the devil made me do it! )

Abi, it doesn't matter to me if you are autistic, ballistic, or a babbling mystic - I love you. I love how sometimes you zip around from topic to topic and leave me behind shaking my head and trying to catch up. Then other times you're analytical and very professional-like and I'm still shaking my head wondering what happened. Following your journal is enlightening and I'm a better person for having had your insight on such topics as health, food (yum), dancing, and your friendships. Abi Rules!

I'm often surprised at how well you communicate, and often wonder why i seem to understand you so well. At other times i am clueless as to what is going on in your brain.
... said EVERY man to every woman he ever met!

Nope, can't say I ever slept at a Holiday Inn. And, I'm not an expert in anything! X is either an unknown factor, or once was. A spurt is what you get when you have a hole in your hose. So, an expert is either an unknown or has been drip under pressure. :plbb

I'm lucky to know all of you, too!!

And I'm not wed to any diagnosis. Autism just makes it easy to understand because I fit the set of symptoms. Like saying you have a tummy flu when you have a fever and are vomiting. It might not be influenza, but we all know what you are talking about!!

Did laundry yesterday and got 1/3 of the way through handsewing the 8 yard portion of the petti to the 4 yard. Dance party got moved to next week.

I also went to the fabric store and got materials to do two sun hats, and 10 fabrics for origami to decorate clothes and hair pieces (only 1/8 yard each!!). And ribbon was on sale.

So today, I need to do the rest of my chores:

Cat litter boxes washed and refilled (one washed, drying now) DONE!
Hand wash bras (on second rinse) DONE!
Vacuum (done!!)
Grocery shopping (at 2)
Made cherry preserves.
Made blueberry preserves.
Started a saurkraut.
Set almonds soaking in whey.

... and added bonus, cleaned the bathroom! DONE! heh. My roommate, technically, does the bathroom and I do everything else but he hadn't yet so I just did it. That way I can go hang out with my friend and not worry about getting back in time to finish anything.

I don't like having chores waiting. And, honestly, we have so few in this little apartment lol.

Today, after work, I made the peach salsa, and peeled two trays of almonds (I set the other half back to soak. I ran outta steam).

I also made a taco spice mix for my sister and set her aside some turmeric. I do wonder if she'll be able to tell them apart >.>

And only 5 more sections of the petticoat. At least I know how to do this less stupidly next time LOL!!

Gather and attach in SECTIONS before sewing it all into a damned circle. *nods wisely*

But live and learn :D
