but not on purpose! The issue is if I TRY to do things, I screw it all up.
Write it without trying then. There is always a thing called editing.
You know, you do know someone who was going to school at one time to be an English Teacher :p and Loves to read, and to eat, and to try new things? :p Just saying :D

LOL. I only write when I'm in a bad mood and need to vomit words on paper. It doesn't lend itself to real writing. Just bad prose :D

Everyone is more than welcome to invade recipezaar and review my recipes. Tell me where I screw it up. "How did you get THIS measurement??" "um. Well, I poured some in my hand and then guessed...."

My Yoga Journal said that people should focus on breathing. Um. How do you breathe if you don't think about it on a regular basis. I forget to breathe a LOT so I focus on breath often. And it keeps my adrenaline lower. I've been doing proper yogic breathing since I was a toddler. I never knew people breathed differently until I was in my first first aid class and was accused of holding my breath when we were counting breaths. No one had seen a body breathe without the chest heaving, I guess.

Do you all just breathe or do you focus on it?

On average, I breathe 4-6 breaths/minute.

I never focus on my breathing unless someone directs me, or I'm trying to meditate.

There have been studies made that indicate proper breathing is tied with weight loss as well.

It seems the more oxygen a body takes in the better it can function and the more properly food is digested and metabolized. Some have even suggested that it is NOT the exercise that makes the body healthier it is the fact that you breath more and more deeply when you are exerting yourself. I don't know if I would go quite that far, but who knows??

i never think about my breathing unless someone brings it up. then i can't stop focusing on it and I tend to over analyze my breathing until I find something to take my attention off of it.

My oxygen usage is excellent. During an allergic reaction to morphine after my hysterectomy, I was breathing twice a minute and the nurse was worried... except that my oxygen saturation never dropped below 99. You should understand that Colorado average is lower because of the altitude. *laughs*

Okay, so the NY Times bring us another AMAZING fact ...

Joblessness was the main culprit pushing more Americans into poverty, economists said.
