I am babysitting this morning :D

The next door neighbor is having her apartment bug sprayed so I took the kids at 6 am and am sending them home at 2. One is a baby calico girl. 6 months old maybe? Still tiny and hyper. The other is Russo. Big grumpy boy. He is probably 3-5 years or so.

He is hilarious. He has not stopped meowing, hissing, or growling since he got here. Constant noise. I had to shut them out of the room so I could sleep. The kitten wants to make friends though. Amira is tolerant. Pudding is confused.

If Russo would shut up, Amira would be all play friendly. But it puts her on the defensive. LOL. He sits across the room and STARES.

This is the cat that broke in because Amira missed a day of breaking in to their place. They really are friends. There haven't been any fights at all. They're just having fun making noise.

:gig :gig :gig

I was trying to picture the person insane enough to have you watch their kids, and then I realized they are cats :p at least with cats you won't send them back to momma wanting kimchi and sushi for lunch and veggie burgers and plum wine for dinner :p :D :hugs

:D They're adorable.

I somehow put the lining in to the vest inside out. The issue is the armholes are fully sewn and the lace over it. So it's not really undoable.

But I cannot figure out how to get this tacked down.

eta: maybe I can just tack down over the padded areas... and then serge the rest.

Seriously! The kitten thinks it's great. Amira wouldn't care if Russo would shut the hell up. Pudding is a bit confused.

It's all Russo ;)

I didn't sleep much. *laughs*

I took off work early (we're taking turns right now, call volume is low) and chopped my box of onions. Three sizes: minced, diced, and chopped. *laughs* They're freezing now and then I'll bag them.

I love being right!

Snow tomorrow in Denver is on the weather channel.

Also! The first ski resort opens THIS WEEKEND. Earliest in quite a long while.

Yes.... I read somewhere the weather pattern (La Nina?) is supposed to dump snow like mad in the mountains. Not sure what that means for the front range though. Cold I bet.
