My original plan for figuring out how to make it to CNA classes with my schedule was to request being laid off. I'd get govvie monies (unemployment and food stamps) and have a free schedule.
Auntie said maybe I needed a backup plan to this and do it first.
So this going to the schools and stuff is the harder version but guess I have to
Auntie is very wise - be careful and don't burn your bridges before you cross them.. Sucks, I know.
When I retired from my job, I want to run out the door singing "Take This Job and Shove It", but my practical side said told me he might give me some part-time work if I needed it, so I played nice. I did sing it all the way home.
*beams* she's a genius. I think she gets it from being around me so much. *nods wisely*
Oh the getting laid off wasn't to burn bridges, it was to free up my time schedule LOL!!! I work 11-630 and the classes are 9-2 or 5-9. *scowls*
Hoorah Noobie finished the line!!
One school did have a Fridays class. It was 6 hours every Friday. Well, I have Friday off!! So I just have to find out when the next Friday session is and be the first to apply (only ten students per class).
I keep hoping the fact that I wanna do hospice will get me points for being picked as one of the 10-15 in these classes.
