It's facinating! I've been trying to get the family to get away from the "pre-packaged" world for a while - I love reading the Foxfire series of books. Is there something like a "hillbilly nerd". ? :p

Nahh, its all good.
Each family has to have one person make the changes and suggestions.
The items in that post are health and money savers.

My mom laughed at me for using them. She said everyone was so glad to get away from those big bulky things. :hu

So in dance, we're working on my tendency to lean over to the right. We'll correct my back damage, dammit.

Janet.

I love you. *sings*

My ex and I taught her blue and gold macaw to time warp.

Funniest thing ever.

So here is today's irony...

It was so pretty, I decided, today if they offer GHE (go home early - you get to leave and it doesn't count against you in absences), I'm going to take it and go enjoy the lovely weather.

They've offered GHE every day all week.

Today was dead, so I was sure to get it right?

So about the time they usually start to offer it, everyone lost their VPN connection (we all work from home and VPN to the office) and their phone systems...

EXCEPT ME!!! And about 4 others.

So on the one day I would have gone home early, the universe mocked my need for sloth and made me one of 5 people able to take calls. *laughs*

I'm taking off half of Monday for a school thing so I couldn't actually afford to take today off but the need for sunlight won out. But the universe has my slothful back.

Abi. The universe called and said "Haa haa haa haa!"

She is in a mood today, huh?

Abi - I think that was the nature of today. :) Some new reports were rolled out at work and feedback was solicited. I was the only one *bright enough* to supply feedback and question the data validity of one of the reports. I get to meet with the head Reporting and Control guy on Tuesday. No good deeds go unpunished.

Enjoy the sun!

Isn't it amazing how the good, hard-working, smart, etc. people are the ones who are punished by having more work to do.
