WOOO HOO!!
I was gone 4 hours and came home to 3 new chicks and 5 more pips!! The first chick still seems kind of damp. They are stomping all around in the 'bator rolling eggs everywhere... I've asked on BYC if I should do anything.... hate to lose chicks now.

Now the important part, pics!!! (the little brown one seems to be fine, just gets tired and falls asleep everywhere)

My rooster is a big white easter egger. The eggs so far have been from the brown egg layers, no action in the EE eggs. So that means the chicks could be from:
buff or dark brahma
buff orpingtons
Rhode Island Reds
Golden Comets
Barred Rocks
Jersey Giants

ah I was just home on my lunch break from work (live close) .... so they are on their own again (and probably better off for it!)

I can't imagine that little incubator with 9-10 chicks running around in it!

Guess I'll go buy chick feed in the morning :D

Just came in from work to find 2 more chicks and 4 pips, one zipping along. One of the new chicks is black and is so tiny it could nearly be a bantam! Of course, it is also brand new and really wet......

No staying up all night tonight, it doesn't seem to go nearly as slow when I am not counting the seconds!!
