And if I haven't said it before, welcome!

Ya, I strained some of my homemade ACV today, and plopped it in the frig, but mostly because I prefer cold or hot drinks over room temperature. I also didn't want a mother starting in there. The rest is still on top of the frig, waiting for more apple juice to go in there.
Man, that's pretty decent tasting stuff, lots better than any other vinegar I've ever had. This is my first batch and I'm glad I tried it.

The people on this forum are the best!! Lots to learn.
Thanks for the welcome :D What recipe are you using to make your vinegar? I hope to learn to make it someday soon.
Here's what I had bookmarked for making ACV:

I can't drink the Bragg's straight, but I can slurp down a Tbsp of my own without choking, tears coming to my eyes, etc.
It was so easy, although the mother about freaked me out. Big, goobery, jelly like looking thing. I thought the stuff was going bad. I'm glad I didn't pitch it.
Where I live, the organic apple juice is less than half the price of the Braggs, so it's a win/win. Tastes better, cheaper and I don't have to drive to another town to get it.
Plus, there's something just too cool about making it yourself! ;)

Good to know about the "mother" it would have freaked me out too I'm sure LOL. I love making my own stuff. It brings me joy and pride and a sense of accomplishment :D
