Do NOT blame the bacon, or the ground meat or the cheese. Saturated fat does not cause heart disease. Sugars, starches, fruit juices, and high fructose corn syrup do. Also add hydrogenated fats, vegetable oils like corn or soy to that list.I have cooked (on my smoker) (and eaten) the Bacon Explosion. That is why I flunked my stress test today, have to go see my heart Dr in the morning.
