Well, today was crystal clear, but cold. The snow was transformed into a sheet of ice on the driveway.

Near zero tonight, but this is supposed to the be last of the artic cold.

If ya remember me posting about tagging the chickens DONT. Its not worth it the tags have come off of atleast 3 of the hens......

Why were you tagging them?
Keep track of them. Used for culling and such.....I have records on all of them

Ya know I cant honestly say. I'd speculate we may have lost one or two. Maybe more. They didnt do good this year.............

:frow glad you're feeling a little better.
It's cold here too. I've had to keep the goats in the barn. We let them out for a bit of exercise and they found a corner of the pen where the snow had crusted over and they walked out!! :barnie That hadn't happened before today. So I won't feel quite so guilty leaving them in the barn tomorrow until we can shovel a bit and add some fencing to raise it up a bit. It was a close one. We were all headed out on various errands and I happened to see Thomas walking behind the barn, which shouldn't be possible!! Phew!
Okay, back to normal James since this is his thread not mine. But I can tell you, there really isn't such a thing as a normal James. My James is proof! And normal is boring. ;)

Normal is over rated..............I love goat stories. When the chickens fly ontop of coops I get that same feeling......... :lol:
