Yea for the prom!

I went to the prom as a freshman too. It's really awkward because you know everyone there yet you feel so young compared to them.

My advice (of course, I'm waayyy out of the highschool scene now!) is to be polite but dance, baby, dance! Don't just sit there in a corner all embarassed - get that gal out on the floor and show her a good time!

I am sure you will be a perfect gentleman!

But I hope you have a great time :)

And don't forget to find out what she is wearing so that you can (attempt) to wear a complimentary tie and buy her the appropriate corsage. If she is wearing a strapless dress, you need to get her a wrist corsage. ;)

And make sure you have a haircut you like because they will take pictures galore and you will be seeing them the rest of your life!

Yes! But do not get your hair cut a few days before.....do it two weeks before the dance. That will give you time to adjust, and it to grow just a smidge in case it ends up a little too short :)

Ah, us girls are just full of advice aren't we?

I got all prettied up, got my hair done, wore my designer dress (that was bought solely for senior pics with my mare lol! We won't go into how expensive it was), went to a fancy dinner, then...went home! ;) Loved prom! Lol or lack there of besides pre stuff. Don't regret it one bit either. I think my grandpa bought me a corsage too lol!

Have fun BB! Oh and congrats on the broody! My cuckoo maran is super broody, but still lays eggs everyday thank goodness. Funniest part is my bantee buff brahma who tucks every full sized egg underneath her, the pop out hahah.

One of my EEs is starting to act a little broody....cross your fingers for me. Last year I had so many broody ones when I didn't want it and now I have a broody pen all ready and no one feels like it!

Buff, I'm not going to give you any (grand)fatherly advice, other than my previous post.

As a HS senior, I got dumped by my GF AT THE PROM.

If I can't be the example, I'll be the warning.
