SD, I forgot to take the buns out this morning so uhhh they have had another day for festivities so I may have trillions of bunnies.

Unless you get someone who ovulates more than once a month! (And I have heard of that happening.)

They have no ovulation schedule. Truly. They can be rebred after 10 hours of having kits. Its weird........

Howdy Guys and Gals! I know it has been ages since I did a real update but I suppose its time!

I have been having a rough week so I havent been on the forum much. Its nothing health wise or anything just a rock in my path. But thankfully Im feeling better today after prayer from the Bible Study and some important messages from Church.

On the Farming side of life. I have been really busy. Big Broody Buff is setting her heart out. Tommorow is Day 14 in about a week my little Buffs hatch and she gets to raise them. I have already washed the waterer and feeder and have it setup down there. I hope they hatch good! I have been reading in the Almanac about next week. Its supposed to be warm and clear

Today I sat down with my calender and planned all of my SS goals on a date basis so I will be able to pull thru with my Meat Chickens, Meat Ducks, and Meat Rabbits without having problems in planning. Mom still says I can do meat rabbits but she said I had to get a better setup though. So I hopefully I will be organized by october to breed them and such.

Yesterday me and Cous talked some and I told him I needed a BIG doe. He said he had a big red one I could have in a couple of monthes after she had her kits. Hopefully Mom will approve. I think she will since Im getting everything together.

Yesterday I also called a pet shop down in a neighboring county they take rabbits at Easter for 7 bucks a piece. Thats when my tiny doe will have hers ready to be sold. I hope she has a load of babies.

Today the lady I sold the other half of my Doms to back in July came and got my three juvenille rabbits. PRAISE GOD! It was getting to be a pain since I was constrained for space. She wanted to pay for them but I wouldnt let her since she is SO nice to me. I wouldnt do it......

This Mornin when I had went and let the poultry out, I was walking back up to the house and one of them Duck hens flew over my head and over the electric lines and into the orchard. I can already see a wing clipping in the future. I dont want them to runoff.

I have also been thanking about cutting my duck population down to 3 instead of 4. I was thinking if they can hacth 20 ducklings at a time around 2 to 3 times a year. Im gonna have to do something. I may cull one of them soon. Which one I dont know. Im keeping Big Drake though.

The rooster finally came out of his moult. He has white in his tail feathers now, I guess he is getting old. Maybe he will kick the bucket this year. I dont wanna have to cull him I like him pretty well and I want a Buff roo. So I have about a 6 month window on that.

Well Im out of hot air. And if you completely read that then you have much more patients than me!!
