Today has been an awesome day!! I have accomploshished so much!!

1. I staulked Broody Buff and her babies to find out she has 8.

2. Put fresh straw in the coop.

3. Got together some hatching eggs for a neighbor.

4. Deliver jars to the Granny.

5. Went and cleaned out the cold frame. I got some onions for supper out of it to! Then I dug it all up and put some soil down leftover from my sprouting adventures. Then planted half in lettuce and half in carrots. Then watered them and put in some worms to take care of the plants.

6. Cleaned my grinding table and stuff up.

7. Then after weeks of neglect I ground up corn and oats for the chicks and baby rabbits. They loved it!

Me and mom talked some today. From now on she wants all of our chicks/ducks to be hatched here and raised by Momma birds. She loves the fact I dont have to do anything except feed them!

Im gonna hafta to find a rabbit doe. Im gonna get another for my birthday I believe. May see if Cous can sell me a large doe or a doe kit from a large doe. I want to do meat rabbits by September.

Glad you got 8 chicks! Not bad at all. :) I hope they are ALL pullets, LOL.

Well, mine have hatched over the course of several days. I have 3 so far. I only set her on 6 eggs, and she's still incubating the other 3. Like I said, mine don't follow a good schedule, She may yet hatch more of them.

I am just hoping my geese turn out well. They really don't know what they are doing ... sigh ... and I can't get my hands on a incubator. Next year I hope to have broody scovies to hatch some!!!

Congrats again. The pics are so cute, especially the chick peeking out from under the wing.

And I sure would like me some of that biscuits and gravy! :)
