I thought I had a broody muscovy but I think she may have changed her mind. When the weather warmed up two days ago she thought about being outdoors I guess. But it is pouring rain again today so perhaps she will have time to contemplate those eggs in the coop now.

How are your rabbits doing? Both of my does look a little thicker around the neck. Are they growing fur to pull out? Mine are due the day after yours.

Awww, I just love watching a mother hen with her babies! So peacefull, and relaxing. Give her a little treat for me, and tell her good job momma!!! :love

Well the chick bug has hit! Mom has been wanting more Australorps for a few weeks SO guess what!!

We just placed an order for 15 Straight Run Black Australorps! Chick bug has hit!

Ohhhh I was looking at those as a breed I would like to try! They are apperently very good layers and brooders. I am thinking of those and Domoniques this year, but fear that the small hatchery I get them from will be all sold out by the time we move and get my chicken coop ready
