Hopefully they wont get attached. There is something about that first set of chickens that made me get attached to em. I couldnt cull em or kill em so I sold em.

The youngest two had no issues with the first batch, my eldest didn't eat chicken for a year.

Its all about perception though. If you see em as pets then they are pets if you see em as food then theyre food

Well this last week has been crazy, Im sure you guys were probably worried. But Im fine. The internet at my house was taken out (along with our blue spruce) when lightening hit. The phones are still not acting right. So you guys may not hear from me again for two weeks or longer I havent decided which.
But anyhow. The duck is broody on 15 eggs. The rabbit pulled hair yesterday. Babies due today. The meaties are huge by the way.
