Here I thought it had something to do with the fact he said his drawers were full the other night.
:gig  He seriously said that?! HOW did I miss it? :ep

Buffy...
It was on a thread where ya'll were talking about cleaning out closets or something.
I remember that

Then I could feed it to the chickens

Well today was actually fun not really productive but we had a good time. :) At about noon today in the sunshine and warmth we took our garbage to the garbage place. We hadnt filled the recycling bins full yet so that didnt come. This was 4 bagos of garbage collectively from both houses. Then somehow we ended up taking a trip through the more backwoodsy area of the county to an old, old family cemetery. We had a good time, an adventure on the roads less traveled. Which are my favorite, nothing is more boring than a trip on I-75 or any other. According to my Weird Kentucky book, those who like the sceneless drives and usually the quicker are normal people. Then those of us who enjoy traveling the roads less traveled we are the "weird" ones :D So we did that and had a good time. Then we came home, I fed early. Then we went to the Gran;s house for breakfast for supper and to watch UK stomp South Carolina :celebrate

Tomorrow we are going on another adventure :D We will be hiking down to an old forgotten town in the cliffs below the houses :D I am looking forward to it. After church of course, and a lite lunch. Then we will be armed of course. But Im looking forward to it. Considering bringing the dog but probably won't be allowed too. But it should be an adventure either way....

After we watched UK, I got out the older BHM I have, and was writing a few notes from Jackie Clay's article Standing Pretty when the Economy Tanks about a few things we should grow or make, some pantry items, and a few animal notes.

I really do need to go candle the eggs and perform the sniff test on the ones I think are bad. OH and Deb's pregnancy period starts tomorrow :woot She has shavings in her box and I put fresh hay in there as well. Im ready for the kindling!

BB, those main roads have their purpose, like when you need to get from Point A to Point B fairly quickly. But, I'm w/you. Unless the road less traveled goes thru the middle of a bunch of towns, I'd rather take it. I'm the kind that will see a road while going down I-95 and really wish I could get off the road and see where it goes. And, it's not just roads, either. My friends are used to me going past a stream or trail and wishing I could canoe or ride down it.
