BarredBuff's Homesteading Shenanigans

Just recandled the questionable eggs, one was definitely non developing so I tossed it. The other however had veins and the shadow blob in it.........day 13 ended at 7 :D

BB, it is weird (as in an odd coincidence) that you mentioned 'a road less traveled' in your post. The final stanza of that poem is on my DS#1's headstone, as well as another Robert Frost poem in it's entirety. He came home from school one day and told me he had read a poem reminded him of him & I, and it turned out to be The Road Less Traveled.

I'm going on the BHM website and see if I can find that Jackie Clay article. Love that woman! I wish I could go to one of the teaching camps she's having at her farm this year - can't think of a more awesome SS teacher!

Have fun on your hike, and yay! 8 more days to baby chicks!

Thanks SS we plan to have fun!! That article isnt actually on there, I dont think. But another one by her is Hard Core Homesteading. They are equally as good. I'd love to go to one of her workshops too, but I think she charges a lot for it......

4. Band Aids
5. Water
6. Extra Bullets
7. Flashlight
8. String
9. Knife w/ holster on the belt

Thats in my little bag, I want to add one or two more things. Then I will have a bag ready for our hike into the clives. :D

You're taking extra bullets, but no gun?
