We fed the pigs tonight, I told the pigs you all will look nice on my pantry shelves they snorted over it

Speaking of pigs...my pig is in hog heaven with all the canning going on, he gets all the little cut off bits and is lovin it i love that there is no waste whatsoever and with what I would usually compost I am makin bacon instead

I ALWAYS give the chickens my scraps from food or canning, and it actually makes the hens look better and boosts production. Are you canning any of your pork?
