True.

I would like it because it would test my emergency preparedness skills.

I know a very stupid reason for wanting the power to go out.

The holiday stuff is going great. The decorations are up. Most of the gifts Im giving are bought, and I told my sister if she asked she would not receive what she asked for. Then I lied to her and told her I was getting all this stuff and she fell for it!!! Nothing like Holiday Hoaxes!!

When I was little, my sister and I packed our dirty laundry into a basket and giftwrapped it for my mom. LOL.

See I have this Woody doll from Toy Story. A couple of months ago we would start hiding it on each other. It went to Ohio with me in my suitcase. It was on the school's news thingy. But Im going to top it. Im going to wrap him up and give him to her as Christmas present. We havent hid him in a while so she wont be expecting it. MWHAHAHAHAHA

Don't just wrap it up....give it some anticipation. Wrap up a piece of paper that says "go look in the closet" make it look like a present. In the closet, hide a present with a note inside that says "look in the _____________" and go on as many times as you can to build the anticipation. Then finally, have it fall on her when she opens a door or pop out at her when she pulls open a drawer.
I know, I have an evil sense of humor.

In our house, we have this fake bloody halloween hand. We hide it on each other. Sometimes it will be months between sitings, but we try to set someone up. Usually on April fools day someone trys to pretend they have accidentely cut off their hand, that kind of thing. One day at work they asked me whose hand got caught in my car door. It had been flapping away the whole drive to work!

We are that kind of family I guess.

 DH and I have a McDonalds toy, Guy Smilie, the game show host Muppet from Sesame Street. We hide it in each other's stuff from time to time. It used to be more frequent but now it is more unexpected. I should put it in his stocking this year!!
I love snow and a good snow as we were discussing on my thread, but I HATE when the power goes out.
