True.

I would like it because it would test my emergency preparedness skills.

I know a very stupid reason for wanting the power to go out.
My power seldom goes out for any extended time periods. Last year we had a telephone pole go down due to a car accident. Sad but served a greater purpose.

I couldn't find my flashlight.

The batteries were outside the house in my trailer.

My oil lamp was in the house, the oil was in the garage.

There's always something to learn.

:D

If we do lose power we will be okay. Got a wood cook stove plus a wood heater. Then a water tank that isnt froze. And just needs to be boiled. A lot of canned stuff. I think we'd be set.

We lose the well pump when the power goes out. We have a wood burning furnace but it is connected to the circulator so it doesn't warm the whole house very well. I have DH set on the idea of adding a hearth stove one of these days. I've requested a flat topped one so I can cook on it!!

I do believe a Witch's ... is body temp.

I love the idea of giving that to her as a present! Another idea following MTN's would be to wrap each present multiple times with different wrapping paper on each layer; my SIL did that to me.. Never know when you'll get to the end! One year I wrapped up a hunk of coal for my brother.. He wasn't as thrilled.

My best appearance of "the hand" was just last month. After it was stuck in my car door, I put it in the glove box because you can't just have a fake bloody HAND floating around in your car. I don't go into the glove box very often, but my husband was looking around for the ice scraper and I managed to direct him to the glove box without him suspecting or seeing me trying not to smile....and the HAND looked very bloody and gross and made him gasp when he opened it.
I got a really good bang outa that one, but I know the hand will get me back soon.

We also have a plastic fake dog poop that someone gave my son as a gag gift. We always find that ....like on our pillows, or on our plate, or somewhere we would never want to see a real poo. My boys think this is hilarious but I say now that rubber poop is getting dirty and disgusting, it has been sitting so many places.

Would it be safe to stick the fake poo in a dishwasher? It they are putting it on plates, it might be worth it. You might also ask sombody else to put up the dishes that time, so they can find it.

Last I checked, this witches . . . was nice and warm. Even though it's 25 degrees outside right now. We are still warmhearted people. :)

The fake poo. We used to have some of that, and the fun we had w/it. One day, when our DS was little, my DH sent him over to the neighbor's w/it. The hubby asked, J, what do you have? His reply? Poopy. The neighbor started yelling. Throw it away! D (his wife) get a paper towel! I don't recall now what all he was saying. Meanwhile, my DH is standing behind a tree laughing. We'd put it down when we had people coming over. I can recall my SIL coming up and whispering in my ear that the dog had messed on the floor, so I walked over to it and picked it up. I don't know what eventually happened to it. :(

Good to know no witches... are being froze off.

I already finished my holiday everything. I took my Imooto and her Boy to an Irish concert. I got dance shoes from my mom.

All done now :)
