The office today was not much better, my friend.

I had a ton of voicemails and my waiting e-mails from last month started out tame and got more frantic the longer it got in my vacation - seemed I transposed numbers from my home phone with my cell phone when I left the "call me at this number if you really need me".

Guess what - the place didn't burn down......

We have SEVERAL heirloom varieties. Black ones, yellow ones, purple ones, pinkish ones, Romas too.

If you have breed/variety names, I'd appreciate the info.

Roma
Pineapple
Brandywine
Caspian Pink
Cherokee Purple
Cherokee Black
Arkansas Black

Then a variety that starts with a "p" I cant think of it

BarredBuff, thanks again - I found most of these in my catalogs. The Pineapple variety has intrigued me on what type of salsa it would make.

Ran these past the wife tonight and I didn't get the "what are you thinking" stinkeye and she seemed genuinely interested. Stay tuned....

It went well. It was short, but we had lots to work on here at home too, so we got BUNCHES of stuff done! I need to muck coops tomorrow I also have some chickens to rearrange and some to put OUTSIDE FINALLY :bun They gettin stinky even with cleaning daily!

I hate cleaning coops, the ducks make the most mess and rabbit pee stinks to high heaven............

Yep brooding 8 right now. Two are big enough to go out. The others aren't far behind!! I do small numbers indoors and change bedding OFTEN! It makes for good garden soil ammendments anyway.

I hate brooding....but the mulch you get from it is wonderful!
