Because it starts getting where it might offend, but being p.c. all the time is not much fun.
Anybody can feel free to forward me thread links that are getting too interesting. I don't get offended or embarrassed easily and will try to read it quick. ;)

My favorite thing to do when I'm bored is to go over there and read the closed threads of the day. (I guess that is why I get a bit bummed when they remove them. :p)

Anyhoo...

If I live to be a thousand I will never understand why folks get all brody on a chicken forum! I can't imagine getting so intense about something so inane as chickens.... :p

This is why I like SS so much better....at least folks over here realize how to prioritize things. When you are dealing with real life issues, chicken problems seem to pale in comparison.

There are too many people on there that are not willing to accept that their way is just one of many ways to do things.

I was looking for essential oils to try in a batch of deodorant.

I decided jasmine would smell nice as a gift for my sister.

NOT!

$155 for 1 oz of 'Jasmine Absolute oil'!

She can stay smelly for that price.

BB, does she like girly scents or fresh citrusy smells? Very cheap EOs are lemon, lemongrass, lime, orange. Well, cheap in comparison to most of the other EOs.....none of them are really cheap anymore!

Lavender is a cheap floral EO and it only takes a dab and I mean, a drop, to scent most things. Very strong!

I believe you are correct, Dac. Hard to see things well when you are operating with a closed mind. I have my thoughts and opinions that are pretty set in stone also, but I don't get excited about imposing them upon others. They are generally offered up for consideration but I don't really care much to push them aggressively. Guess I'm too lazy to care if others agree!

My older sis and I came to that conclusion together....out of all our family and the strife therein, we are the most happy and laid back. We feel this is because we are too lazy to hold a grudge or foster hate for anyone.....takes too much darn work! :p

Well I was thinking Calamus might work. I have a Calamus plant that I got from the herbalist neighbor, it has a wonderful delicate fruity almost strawberry-ish smell when you rub the leaves. But then I read its often used as a sex stimulent, so maybe not.

Girly scents might work, but I'm not so sure about citrus.

That's the way I feel about this sort of stuff. I don't feel like having an ulcer trying to stay angry or hold a grudge. I much prefer to let it go.

I love coming on this forum to get my mind off of stuff and get some giggles in.
