No eating Woody....he is a poop making factory for Dace. Without the poop there is no fertilizing business.

Do you hire him out for parties also. Like "Wooly Woody" rides--$20 each?

Bite your tongue! If Woody caught wind of that he would tromp right in here and step on this computer!
Ya mean he can fit in your house??? Is he a mini-Wooly? are the mini's harder to acquire than the standards? What's the price range on one?

Can you shear their wool for and use it for anything?

Well He is not a mini but he would trample right thru the french doors if he knew that putting him on the dinner menu was being discussed. I am still trying to get him to warm up to me, ya know! Mostly he is interested in the dog

I don't really know much about the minis, I hear that they need a lot less space, but that goes with out saying. My standard domestic stock was only $10K....we figure that if we can get a female, whicha re about the same price, and breed them we should recoup our expense in about 8 years, their gestation is 22 mos, sooo....probably need to sell 4 babies to get out original investment back. We figure that is a pretty sound return on our money (anyone wonder why I have none??)

As for the wool....I am currently researching how to add it to my new 'Pleistocene' line of hand made soaps.

So do the mini's eat less??? I heard that mini cattle eat less, you know, because they take up less space...turns out, that's not so true (honest!) and by the time I put out the expense to buy a mini, might as well go for the standard!

So, do you know about the feed conversion?

Hey, do Wooly's have udders? Can you milk them?

What about those tusks, do they shed them? and if they do, are they ivory?

I think there might be a market, too, for Wooly Tail Hairs...maybe it's possible to harvest those hairs and they could be braided into rope like horse hair?

I have been single for too long (5 years). It took me four posts to get the Wooly Woody joke.
