It would first have to be spun, I suppose. I have always wanted to try my hand at spinning, although I had never thought of using mamoth wool.

To felt the wad of Woody wool you simply take a nice big wad and comb it out. They call this carding. Then you get it wet. Then you take the wet wad of Woody wool and cover it with an old curtain. Then you scrub it and roll it up. You stomp it and roll it and in general torment it. That is how you make the wad of Woody wool into felt.

After you have felt Woody wool nothing else will ever seem as soft! Then you make the felt into a little dress for the poor little frizzle and she will be the best dressed chick around!

I can just see little Susie strutting her stuff. She is pretty saucy already, I bet she'll be unbearable in a dress made of "Wads O' Woody Wool"

Lately she has been residing in my bathroom, it has just been too cold outside for her.

I ran a bath for myself and she got a little scared and ended up hopping into the bath. It wasn't very high yet, but she just stood there, her feet all nice and toasty warm. I bet she would have appreciated a nice Woody wooly mamoth dress after that.

She has been getting a high protein diet (sharing catfood) and her feathers are growing back, again.
That's little Petey watching her. He knows better than to get too close. He'll get a whack with that sharp beak.
