Sorry you had a lousy massage.....as a massage therapy instructor, I am not too surprised. A lot of lazy lumps come through massage school. I kick their piriformis's and somehow they get lazy again. A former student came to a workshop I was teaching, and I tell you, the work she did there as a licensed graduate would not have passed my midterm....I was stunned!

Thank you, my dear friends. I have some terrible and sad news today. Against all odds and legal precedence, the judge made the recommendation that the Toxic Trio be given guardianship and conservatorship over my father instead of my mother. Even their lawyer was shocked and dismayed, as were Dad's lawyer and all of us.

All the details are too horrible to relate and too heart-rending to review, but my mother is now in my home and can only visit my father if she enters the enemy camp. She, who has devoted all her life and love to this ornery little man, is denied caring for him in the end.

My heart is broken for my mother and the rest of the family are devastated as well, but I know that God is in control of all things and will turn all things to the good for those who love Him. Well, we definitely love Him, so I will await quietly for the good to transpire.

We can appeal this decision and we may feel compelled to do so in the future. For now, we are going to let these horrible individuals sleep in the bed in which they have made. They told numerous, fanciful lies on the stand about the ideal life they were going to give to my father~now let's see them try it. The man they have hated all these years will now be the millstone around their necks.

The main thing is that Dad is going to get out of that mental ward and be clean, fed and clothed if not happy. At least he won't be confined to that one hallway.....and I'm thinking he won't be confined in the cell they have planned for him either. He will be trying to find a way to Mom no matter where he lives, for as long as he has memory to do so.

Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes! Please don't feel your prayers went unanswered in this matter....I feel that God allowed things to happen to better suit His purpose for His children and we will just have to wait and see how things unfold.

Please continue to pray for my mother, that she may find solace in the simple joys she has left to her and that she bounces back from this wounding. Mom is a great bouncer, so I have every confidence that she will find her way through on this also.

Life has a way of making one shift gears, you know...and when you shift gears you often gain more power or even a new direction.
