Got two really good seed catalogs in the mail this week!!! :weee :celebrate

I'd never seen them before, but each has a lot of what I really need at reasonable prices, so I'm very well pleased.

Pinetree Garden Seeds: Has so many different varieties of herbs, veggies and green manure cover crops that I've not found anywhere else before! Even had heritage seeds from Africa, many ethnic varieties of veggies, and herbs I've never found in any other common seed catalog. Good prices too! :thumbsup

HPS Catalog: Has bulk seed packets with good prices. Not so much good for veggies, as there are few I grow in bulk, but for intense plantings of annuals and perennials in large beds, this is the catalog to see.

Seed catalogs in November...it's a first, but it's very exciting! :ya

I got the new PineTree catalog yesterday too. I have ordered from them in the past and they were great. I love the fact that you can get seeds in smaller quanities than with other seed companies. My seed catalogs are like the Christmas Sears and Roebuck was when I was a kid!!!!

Yes! Only slightly more exciting... ;) I go through them with a highlighter and a pen, mark up all the pages with my dreams of the coming year, peruse the pics of all the colorful bounty and dream, dream, dream....... :fl

Thanks for the info on the Pinetree mag....I was hoping they were the real deal. :)

You'll probably like PineTree, I've ordered from their catalog and online before, tobacco, bamboo, Fenugreek, Hyssop and others, pretty happy with them.

You have got to love those seed catalogs. :love Sheer gardener porn.

I get one or two a week for a while, but when the season is in full swing after Christmas I get three or four a DAY sometimes. Makes my mail carrier and my hubby crazy. But what fun to curl up in bed on a cold snowy day with a huge colorful pile and dream the winter away!!!

Wish MY hubby would laugh. Usually he just gripes and moans as he crawls over the mountain of catalogs to get to bed. :D
