beef stew question

I make normal beef stew LOL
hubby says it is 'kinda bland' but I love it and he can't describe what is 'missing' in his taste.

so how do ya'll season up beef stew? just wanting to see some ingredients to see if I can give mine more of a zip

So what does hubby like on steak or hamburgers? I always use a dash of steak sauce in my beef stew sometimes mustard and if it still seems bland horseradish or crushed red pepper flakes. I season by taste so I won't mention amounts.

ah, ha, that is true cause hubby is an A-1 steak sauce fan to the max....I bet a tad of that would hit his taste buds, cause he uses that stuff on everything it seems...hmmm....good idea
