Cool pics. My brother lives near Nikishki on the Kenai penn. He has sent us lots of pictures of moose, bear and caribo hunts. He used to fly in across the Cook inlet to hunt but fell off his deck last year and broke his shoulder so can't pilot the plane right now. I got to visit once and I got to go Salmon fishing on the Kenai. Really good eating! Would love to go back but my DH isn't into flying and driving the Alcan doesn't appeal to me.

Thank the Lord for saving you! I've seen moose up in Maine while on business. They are so so huge! I was amazed.

Take care of yourselves - cold compresses for your eye, and keep the puncture wound clean. Be still and quiet today, to let the body relax and heal.

oh my gosh

Wow, from living in Northern Maine for many years, I know that moose vs car usually equals a lot of death and destruction on both sides. Yikes. Don't you love the way moose have no fear and just step out of the underbrush and right into the path of your car?

Did you get to harvest the meat at least?
