Congratulations to you both!! She is just adorable. Your outfit look so nice as well.

I usually had my babies tucked in next to me. I had a bassinet next to my bed. But for the most part they preferred to snuggle in my bosom next to the food source.

The doctors advised against it, they actually cautioned against side lie nursing as well. :plbb I did it anyways. :idunno

Congrats again to you both. Your smiles say more than any words could ever.

:hugs

Same here. Although my doctor did not say not to nurse from the side. But all three of my children slept in my bed, I could not bear to have them too far away. We used a basinette but more for napping. I am a very light sleeper however and never ever came close to rolling over onto my babies.

My daughter was going to have my granddaughter sleep in the basinett as well and ended up sleeping with her, too. I don't think it is as bad as some doctors feel it is.

I thought nursing laying on your side was by far the easiest position, but I think everyone is different. Having help and advice from a woman who has breast fed her baby could be invaluable.
