LOL. It wasn't a low carb website.patandchickens said:I know there are lots and lots and lots of happy websites and books out there that like to explain things in ways that fit whatever idea or product they're selling, but it is worth checking what they say, at least when it is something that sounds unlikely to begin with

leave the dairy out for two weeks and see what happens.
Nope, had issues way back when I lived in London, then in Iroquois Falls, then stil in LaSalle, now in this house. Although they are getting progressivley worse. It really got worse when we moved from up north to down south, which might suggest it is environmental, since we live in the smoggiest part of Canada right now.Any change when you moved to your current house? Or if there have been any basement-flooding-type events there? Household allergens or air quality can certainly cause chronic sinus problems.
Note also that it is entirely possible, and non-rare, to lose part of one's sense of smell *independant of* a sinus infection (though of course you may also have one at the same time). Hopefully that is not the case, but, a possibility.
I did consider yeast a few years ago. I do not consume sugar in any way, except in my kombucha, and I have that ever few days. Coffee is black, no pop, no sweets.Won't eat tofu, but will keep in mind the olive leaf extract. If I were you, I would get some olive leaf extract, get added sugars and starches out of your diet, give up dairy entirely unless its tofu, make raw honey a daily intake item. At least try it for a month and see if the results warrant making a life change.....it certainly made a difference in our lives and the life of my boy.
Interesting. I can do this.I would first suggest seeing a chiropractor. Sometimes they can adjust the neck in such a way where it will relieve the pressure.
I've done this for head colds. It seems to hlep, but I want to get rid of it totally. I'll try some eliminations first. If all else fails, I will try some herbal remedies.Three ingredients, horseradish root, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Grate the horseradish by hand, as the therapy begins with the grating. Breathe deeply while you work. Once you've shredded a nice pile, put it into a glass jar that has a tight fitting lid and add to it apple cider vinegar and honey to taste. Mix it up and refrigerate. It can be put on toast or mixed in with rice or grains. One tablespoon daily is what Rosemary suggests.
I mixed it up and took a small bite and had to spit it back out as it was super hot, but I can tell you that I no longer had a stuffy nose.
