I’m so sad I can’t use cast iron because I have a flat top stove.
You could bake with it though, right? I as well have a flat top but I have found recipes for baking and grilling-not sure how well they work.I’m so sad I can’t use cast iron because I have a flat top stove.

In our old home of 19 years I had a glass top, and I did use my CI all the timeI’m so sad I can’t use cast iron because I have a flat top stove.
It came with the house, definitely not what I would prefer! And I am not very graceful, I wouldn’t attempt to use cast iron on it haha
so true!always good to know one's own limitations IMO. i am about as graceful as brownian motion.
I need to do this to my Lodge pan. Otherwise it's an expensive paper weight. I never use it because it's rough inside. I have no idea where it is at the moment. I use my vintage cast iron pan for almost everything!so far its working well. not sticking at all
after breakfast all it took for clean up was a paper towel. View attachment 17572View attachment 17573View attachment 17574

I have a glass top stove and use cast iron. Just don't drop them. (or slide them)I’m so sad I can’t use cast iron because I have a flat top stove.
