He, unfortunately has had some run-in's with the law and cannot get a driver's license or get hired by most companies or on the Marine base where there are a crapload of jobs he could do. I would love to get a job, but I know my limitations health-wise and I know I could not hold a regular job. If we had a vehicle, it would make a huge difference. I just don't know if we can get this van to ever pass smog. And even buying a used vehicle is not financially possible. I really don't even know where the money to finish this house is going to come from... The only bright spot right now is that our utility bills are next to nothing in the summer.

Hmmm....so could you sell some things on Ebay and save up for a car? There are TONS of things to do from home. I sold acorns to make my house payment for 6 months Seriously...acorns. Anyway, just use your imagination! Look around your place and find the dumbest most plentiful thing you can and then look to see what it sells for on Ebay. Mesquite wood sells GOOD in the summer for smoking wood I know you guys have some of that out there.

Mesquite would be awesome, but it is protected in this area! Go figure! I need to get a bunch of decent fabric and get J to sew up some things to put on etsy! I think I could also do OK selling eggs, goat milk, cheese, soap, etc. Dawn got me thinking with the gourds, but I need to grow them first! Please don't think I haven't tried to come up with something!

Nooo I don't think that. I try not to make assumptions I'm just trying to help you think of something to make some quick cash. I just picked THE most ridiculous thing to sell and started selling it It made my monthly bills for a while. sometimes there is money to be made sitting right under your nose and ya just don't realize it. I'm NOT pointing fingers. Everyone keeps telling me maybe i should get a job... but I make/save more by staying home. I try not to judge if for no other reason than that

That'd be a good seller! I sold a ton of fishing worms last year myself, and there isn't really much easier work to be found I had thought about fly tying too.
